The Multiplex Series: the energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly system

The Multiplex Series (MPS) includes both High Efficiency 5-star rated heaters and Medium Efficiency 4 star-rated heaters.

There are no awards in New Zealand for high-efficiency products but the MPS series has won the Australian Gas Association's Appliance of the Year award, as well as Galaxy Awards for the most energy-efficient product five years in a row.

The MPS HE External has won four Galaxy awards.

The technology used in the MPS series is a culmination of Brivis's 40 years of heating experience.

The features of the MPS ensure that the heaters are very effective at heating your home, with the least amount of energy, environmental damage and expense.

The MPS has been designed to be as reliable and unobtrusive as possible for you in every stage of operation.

All MPS heaters feature a Hot Surface Ignition system to start the heater. Two confirmation rods on either side of the burner send a signal to confirm that there is ignition across the whole burner. Most other heaters do not feature this important safety feature.

Once ignition is confirmed, the gas then comes on fully and the circulation fan starts at its lowest level to ensure that the start up of the fan is extremely quiet and that the air is warm before it is distributed into your home.

The MPS High Efficiency units have a unique secondary heat exchanger which captures the heat which is normally expelled from the unit into the environment and uses it to more efficiently heat your home. This means that every last bit of warmth from an MPS unit is used to heat your home rather than being wasted.
