Will my gas central heating system be noisy?
This is a mechanical system like all air moving systems, so it will generate some noise, however it is designed for domestic use and gas ducted systems can raise the air temperature much faster than other systems so the air movement is kept to a minimum, therefore minimising noise levels.
If you have people in a house moving around, music playing or any other normal household activities going on, you would be unlikely to notice any noise from the heating. If it is a very still day and no other sounds then you may be aware of a background noise. Very few things are silent.
